Referrals For Medical Tests

In some cases, our surgeons will arrange for you to have diagnostic tests that help them plan the best course for your care. Such tests include (but are not limited to) x-rays, CT scans, MRIs, laboratory tests, ultrasounds, and mammograms.

Again, please note that it is your responsibility to check with your insurance company as to whether or not prior authorization is needed for diagnostic testing. If a referral is required for testing, it also must come from your primary care physician.

We regret the inconvenience that comes with checking with your insurance companies regarding referrals, but this is their policy and not ours. If we can assist you, please let us know.
